MEET MORA MUSE
SHWETA MALPANI
Meet Shweta Malpani, a celebrity stylist and wardrobe consultant whose work is rooted in instinct and guided by ease. From her early years in Calcutta to her life in Hyderabad, she has built a world where fashion is less about following trends and more about listening—to the body, the moment, and what feels true.
Drawn to Mora through its calm, handcrafted aesthetic, Shweta felt an immediate sense of belonging in the clothes. “If I’m comfortable, I’m ready for anything,” she says—a line that perfectly captures her approach to style and life.
Her fashion philosophy is grounded in simplicity and self-trust. She doesn’t dress to impress—she dresses to express. Often understated, sometimes androgynous, and always real, Shweta’s presence reminds us that confidence isn’t worn, it’s lived.

Who you are and what you do?
I’m Shweta Malpani—celebrity stylist, wardrobe consultant, and currently heading a concept store in Hyderabad called Theory of Everything. What excites me? Anything that keeps me going. It could be music, a good conversation, or just a great cup of coffee.
Your style in three words?
Understated. Androgynous. Classic.
What excites you?
Moments of connection. A great playlist. A strong espresso. Anything that shifts the energy, even for a minute.
What inspires you?
People. I’m always wondering about someone’s story—why they’re smiling, or not. Every person is a world, and that’s incredibly inspiring.

Why Mora?
Honestly—it was the all-white, handcrafted energy. It’s calming, clean, and yet speaks volumes without shouting.
Wearing Mora felt like…
Super comfortable. And if I’m comfortable, I’m ready for anything and everything.
A fashion rule you love breaking?
I’ve never followed trends. I think most of the places you're going to find me a little underdressed, but I'm comfortable with that.
Your Mora pick?
Anything oversized. A big shirt or dress with skinny pants. If I’m comfortable, that’s the look. And Mora’s silhouettes do exactly that, without losing their elegance.

Uplifting women around you
You always have to appreciate what you like when you see a person, example, when I walk out in the gym, I make sure that I'm pushing whoever is my partner that day. That in turn makes me want to do better. So that's definitely an uplifting for both.
A woman who inspires you?
A mother. It’s the most thankless and selfless thing, but we keep going, hoping to raise responsible, independent kids.
Styling white the Mora way?
Depends on where I’m going. For the beach—colorful accessories. For the evening—go all out with gold.
One piece you’d steal?
Anamika Khanna—just give me her entire wardrobe. I’d be very happy.
Final Word - If I’m comfortable, I’m ready for anything.
