THE WORK

Mora’s collections are developed with fabric as the starting point.

Organic cottons and other natural materials, sourced and worked within India’s longstanding textile tradition, are selected for breathability, durability, and the way they evolve with wear. Silhouettes remain considered and uncomplicated, designed to move naturally with the body across everyday contexts.

Hand processes are integral to the work. Techniques such as appliqué and embroidery are employed as structural components within the garment rather than surface embellishment. Variations between pieces are inherent to this method and are intentionally retained as a record of the hand involved.
